Our Story
Why Renew Your Mind?
God reigns supreme. While this is foundational, modern materialism often tempts us toward a false dualism, imagining an equal battle between God and the devil. It is nothing of the sort. As the Creator, Christ holds all authority in heaven and on earth.
We exist to proclaim that, as Abraham Kuyper declared, “There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry, Mine!” That means, God has something to say about our work, families, churches, including our technology.
Societal fragmentation and the devaluing of life stem directly from our abandonment of these Christian foundations. Renew Your Mind exists to equip believers with this Godly wisdom, demonstrating that these ancient truths provide vital and fertile ground for navigating challenges like technostress and artificial intelligence.
To renew your mind is not merely ‘self-development’; it is a spiritual duty. It means refusing to conform to the patterns of this world, and instead being transformed to align with Christ.
Richard Lalchan
I bring over 25 years of experience in digital marketing and five years in coaching to my work at Renew Your Mind. Alongside running an award-winning monthly business networking event and publishing my first faith-driven science fiction novel in 2024, my deepest passion is promoting a robust Christian worldview—one that recognises Christ’s Lordship over every sphere of life, not just the church.
For over 15 years, I have been blessed to serve in a home church in Luton, UK, which has included facilitating a men’s group. My history of service also includes serving as a deacon, leading home groups, and 20s & 30s cell groups in previous churches, as well as hosting the Gospel Truth Podcast–nearly two decades ago!
Romans 12:2 is a guiding conviction for me. Observing a dangerous decline in critical thinking and the pressure to conform to the secular humanistic patterns of this world, I founded Renew Your Mind.
Our mission is to equip professionals, families, and church leaders to reclaim their focus in a distracted world through intentional coaching, curated events, and high-quality resources.
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind”
Dave Paul
David Paul has been married to Ruth since 1974 and together they have raised and home educated their seven children. Having been self employed since 1976, running a small construction and landscaping business, he is now retired from this line of work.
Over the last 50 years he has studied the Bible, history and philosophy, and has preached in congregations in various locations. He has also co-organised home education conferences, written articles for a number of theological journals and Christian publications and newsletters.
David is deeply committed to the cultivation of a robust Biblical worldview, operating from the conviction that every sphere of life falls under the sovereign Lordship of Christ’s Kingdom.
